Fellow classmates:
Our 30th reunion celebration is less than 7 months away.
Mark the dates (if you haven't already) for Friday, July 31st and Saturday, August 1st.
Details will follow in a later correspondence.
I have attached a spreadsheet containing the latest class of 79 roster. The file includes the following classmate info if available:
1. Their last known mailing address (need this for the invitation mailing)
2. Their last known email address
3. designation of deceased classmates (for a memorial)
We are asking that each of you look over this list and make updates or additions if you can.
At the very least, please confirm or add your own info.
Updates can be done by a simple email to me or directly to the spreadsheet then send it back to my email. I ask that you highlight any changes or additions that you make to the spreadsheet before sending it back to me.
We want to be sure and touch base with as many classmates as possible.
With your help we can make that happen!
Feel free to forward this on to any classmate not included in this email.

PS-There will be a meeting held in the middle of February to see where we stand with the class list. From that meeting a list of the "still missing" classmates will be divided among those in attendance or those that confirm their commitment to locating our lost colleagues (out of town volunteers as well - we will email you your list).

The Olympics are starting 8-08-08 but we all can't go to China.
Sandy B. suggests a 79'er night at Babes on the corner on W130th and Sprague Rd Friday August 8th.

We’re meeting Friday, December 28th at the Buffalo Wild Wings at 8465 Pearl Road. There’s a Walmart and Home Depot behind it. It’s close to 71 and 80 in Strongsville (44136), not too far from 480 either.

Just an FYI that I am hosting a party for a 1979 VF Classmate of ours who is visiting from Vegas. Mark Brenkus (we used to call him Boog - like Boog Powell) will be in town next week and I am having an informal gathering on Sat. Aug 11 beginning at 6 pm. If you would like to see some of your old classmates and Boog, feel free to stop by. My address is 6975 Anthony Lane in Parma Hts. I will take care of the food and beer....if you would like something other than beer to drink, feel free to bring it.

Happy New Year to all!
Another year is upon us and I hope it brings you joy and good health!
To help kick-off the New Year right, it was suggested by a fellow classmate that we all meet at the Saddle Ridge Night Club located where the old Mining Company was at the corner of Pearl and Brookpark roads on Saturday, February 3rd at 7pm. Bring your dancing shoes and let's dance the night away!!
Just a reminder to make email changes in your address book when I send the updated alumni list because I'm seeing email messages with old or invalid email addresses in the To: box. I am attaching an updated list in this email. Remember, recent additions/changes are in red so check your address books, please.

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in helping the little ones w/cancer by attending an Indian's game, happy hr, or walk the events begin on the 18th of Aug. - please check out their website. My son Frank's aunt Blaze began this wonderful group mentoring to kids and their families w/cancer. If u cannot attend, maybe someone u know will be interested. Or hopefully in the future - u can attend an event.

Proceeds from this event will be donated between two wonderful non-profit agencies: Cleveland Rape Crisis Center & Hitchcock Center for Women.
Our host venue for this tasting is Corleone's Ristorante & Bar, which has been the recipient of Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence. The Free Times recently selected Corleone's as the Best Italian Restaurant in Cleveland. So to celebrate, Corleone's will also be serving their yummy hors d'oeuvres as an added treat to all guests that attend this benefit.
Tickets are $50 per person
